Job Description

The Manager – UI/UX designs the entire user journey and experience (acquiring, owning, and troubleshooting) for ABO and customer-centric products and solutions through collaboration with Experience Design teams. She has the ability to create solutions for interface and interaction design, creating fully fleshed out designs and graphics for mobile, web and other applicable software applications. A graduate/B.Tech in Computer Science, Digital Technologies or Design, she has the experience of creating specs for UI/UX deliverables, UI/UX design process, methods and rationale. Must have Knowledge of wireframe, prototyping, design and collaboration tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc, InVision, Sketch, Zeplin),design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and have experience defining interaction models, user flows and UI specifications.

Job Responsibilities

*Designing delightful, user-friendly, and on-strategy ABO and customer digital user experiences, compliant with local legislation
* Tests solution design to incorporate user-feedback
* Guides the team to follow the global standards of user interface design
* Applying a passion for exceptional UI/UX design and past experience portfolio to communicate user-focused ideas and lead a team toward the same goals
* Develops visual concepts (e.g., sketches, wireframes, user interface concepts, interactive prototypes, design
systems)
* Understanding and designing with users’ motivations for adopting a product by personas
* Designing functionality to be delightful, user-friendly, and on-strategy ABO and customer digital user experiences
* Utilizes a variety of methodologies including: Ethnographic research, Surveying , Customer feedback and testing, Focus group administration, Non-directed interview, Contextual Interview, Mental modeling, Flow charts, Mood boards, Card sorting , Competitive analysis, Contextual Inquiry, Heuristic analysis, Expert evaluation, Pluralistic walkthrough, Personas , Scenario , Prototypes , System mapping, Experience mapping, and User testing/ usability testing
* Sources and leads (external) UX/UI designers ensuring alignment within the team and providing a clear directions in UX area, based on approved concept designs and style guides and standards
* For key, complex programs, works with product owners and analyses business requirements, user needs and technical limitations to give directions to the UX designers for (product)design
* Plays an active role in defining a solution ensuring quality in UX/UI area
* Ensures alignment on processes and planning with leads, scrum masters, product owners, designers and developers, to ensure design readiness for development (sprint -2 approach)
* Serves as a single point of contact for UX related questions within the team and the wider organization
* Checks proposed solutions against corporate style guide, initiates (and gets approval for) changes or updates if required
* Responsible for making sure the user experience requirements are being captured and documented
* Defines artifacts and oversees the documentation creation by UX designers. Supports documentation creation whenever required including for presentations
* Ensures re-usability of certain UX/UI/Interaction elements/patterns/templates
* Ensures availability/application of appropriate UX/design tools and appropriate access and leveraging of the program collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira) for designers
* Capable at recognizing overarching patterns
* Execute usability and A/B testing activities for the local market portfolio
* Maintain and update UI/UX prototypes for demo and onboarding/learning purposes
